Text For Vlad and Mark even though I want to edit the CSS
Choices
So, good news for me! I am about halfway to three quarters way done with my very first piece of code (which is not long, say toy sized), which also happens to be my very fist I guess, “2d”, piece for my ba, considering I sort of switched thesis topics. The major hurdles are capished. Now I just need to deal with color! (Which is a lot harder than it looks, let me tell you, especially since I never medidated on color theory).
Considering that the theoritical basis of my BA happens to be tech-ish, I probably should host the piece, as well as some others that are in the works. Considering this piece was written in Processing, I could theoretically find a way to host it as the original JAR, since it technically calls from the Java Virtual Machine, and it prints as a JAR and a jpg. It really depends on how much I want to iterate from the original version I have now. I have to think about it.
Should I spin off another blog, or should I figure out how to do pages here, and just stick them here? Another TUMBLR, maybe? How do you host Art these days? Especially when you know that one of your long term goals is to figure out how to livecast nudity and twitter and the same time? Or to make twitterable objects of famous tech people saying typical things they say? * I need a place to store my art! Or even better, collaborative art…Now you got me thinking too much
*Not frontal thank GOD, and maybe even fake nudity, But to talk about anonymity and non-anonymity and objecthood on the internet. Or other internet issues, such as ownership and identity. This is why you never let art students loose. We throw your ideas up in the air and go :-p
